Vienna,Sunday, January 13, 2008: I have copied
a Reuters report published by Dawn of Karachi on
purpose.Dawn is Pakistan´s most respected and
reasonably well edited newspaper. Unlike Pakistan
Times there are no chances of Dawn reporting
= President Zia ul Haq ejaculated= meaning the
general turned dictator simply =said=.Besides
it involves Pakistan deporting an American freelancer
of a kind, who does free lancing for every one for
the sake of bread just a was done by Iranian exile
the late Bazoft in 1989/90 who went to Iraq after
space canon maker Gerald Bull was shot dead in
Brussels in front of his residence,setting off the first
round of Iraq war.Bazoft was tagged to Observer may
be for travel costs and about four hundred pounds
in compensation for a =story=.Evidently Bazoft was

Observer free lancing was an =arranged marriage=.I have
other instances, where billionaire media owners using
the defecating hole of poor tramps and then present
them as =journalists= to compromise professional
institutions like the =Committee to Protect Journalists=
CPJ for short.Yes such behavior promotes hurting
humanity because INTEGRITY in general made suspect.
I have worked for more than 125 large or small media
organizations, Including India´s giant The Times of
India and India´s heart of the media The Press Trust
of India, a nationalist daughter of Reuters.None of them
compensated me adequately for a demanding and
outstanding professional work.But I live even today
without selling my soul, although I was challenged by
the same legally underworld operatives =spell your
price=.Very few in this world know that INTEGRITY
is indeed priceless.

When I get this morning the message from Columbia
University´s South Asian Journalists Association,SAJA
Forum that a New York Times contributor was expelled
from Pakistan for no reason, I was rather surprised.
With the Reuters news published by Dawn, Pakistan´s
flagship newspaper, the cat was set out of the bag.
I reproduce the report showing in bold letters the word
containing key information.I suggest all concerned in
Pakistan situation today need to behave with credible
=accountability=.It is a question of world
peace.

ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: Pakistan has expelled a journalist
for the New York Times Magazine who interviewed Taliban
leaders and visited the Balochistan province on the Afghan
border, a media watchdog said.The journalist, Nicholas
Schmidle, whose report “Next-Gen Taliban” appeared in
the magazine on the weekend, was deported on Friday,
the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said
“The article contained interviews with anti-government
Taliban leaders and was written from the tumultuous
Balochistan province, and its capital, Quetta,” the New
York-based watchdog said.

The Committee quoted Scott Malcomson, Schmidle’s
editor ( he is the New York Times Magazine editor)
at the magazine, as saying that no explanation was
given for the journalist’s deportation.

However, he said, the deportation was “clearly
connected to his writing rather than anything
else he was doing”.(how does he know it?)

An information ministry official said Mr Schmidle
did not have a journalist visa.

“He was on a two-year fellowship here and had visited
sensitive areas in Balochistan without permission and
did reporting. He was not on a journalist visa,” the
official said on condition of anonymity.( The question
is who is accountable?)

The CPJ expressed concern over growing attacks by
the government of President Pervez Musharraf on
the media. “CPJ is unfortunately accustomed to
reporting on the government's attacks on the local media,
but now harassment seems to be spreading to foreign
journalists as well,” said Joel Simon, CPJ's executive
director.(Not a serious statement).

“At a time of growing crisis in Pakistan, perhaps the
worst tactic for promoting calm is for the government
to silence the press.”(Another unfounded claim).
The government rejects criticism on media curbs.
“The media in Pakistan is the freest ever in the history
of the country. There is no restriction whatsoever on
media in Pakistan,” an information ministry spokesman

the definition is being given.The four Sanskrit words
read =yogah chitta vritti nirodhah=.If yoga word is traced
to yoking, chitta denotes mind.It is neutral in gender.
In Vedanta philosophy,everything had begun with =aum=
=tat= =sat=,meaning aum that is it, the reality.The
existing =sat=reality was pointed the word was used
as substance =chit=.Its true nature was noted as
=ananda=, happiness.Yoga now takes us on the route
of realizing the happiness.This mind substance is
mercurial.The tendency of the mind is to keep moving.
Some for comparison suggest it to that of a monkey
that is because of superficial knowledge. Another
temptation for comparison could be to nuclear
movement but there the problem is nuclear atoms
are many individual mind is one.Besides,they keep on
collision course.Mind´s mobility is fast, but no collision
is involved.Yoga is the method of harnessing
the mind´s moving energy.It is done by the use of
reverse force to prevent uncontrolled movement.
Thus making it clear by nirodha,restraint,a suppression
is not meant.Minds mobility is retained but guided
towards, the goal.

What is the goal?The is goal is =ananda=,happiness
constant,like switched on light.This light interacts
radiating all round.The motivation for the pursuit is
happiness,the goal,a subjective experience.It is
pure love.That is why Amarasimha, in his Sanskrit
dictionary listed =chittam tu cheto hridayam,
dhee prajna shemushee matih=as mind,
consciousness, heart,intelligence, knowledge,
understanding,and will.The heart is the key for
hapiness,love and will.Amarasimha serves as
thesaurus.

In the reality,chit,which is being the experience
and the one experiences, itself is =antaratma=,
the boss of the human body showing the individual´s
will. This antaratma is the same as =paramatma=
who is the boss and will of the universe,call
it nature.By yoga,the boss of the body is able
dance in tune with Paramatma,the boss of nature
in complete happiness.Yoga is not inhibiting the
mind as some claim but guides it on how to team
up with outside boss,paramatma.Samkhya
philosophical system explains the relationship
between =antaratma= some call it =jivatma=

pained to take note of the lowest sports and
political standards displayed by the public in
India.Once a gentleman´s game,Cricket
has turned itself over to =satta= bazar, just
as politics has become eating sweet balls
in front of the camera from some one else´s
hand or accepting golden penis miraculously
produced by the sick gawd man, Satya Sai
Baba.For this achievement, that inglorious
=poet= Prime Minister, ABB( sorry the first B
is not for Bihar) who invited terrorism to
the doors of parliament.He indeed
deserves a Bharata Ratna. I nominate him
through my blog not by a letter to the Prime
Minister, released to the press even before
it landed on the table of the addressee.Even
the old New York Cotton rates game was not
obliging so the sure winners of Modi class developed
their own =gujarati match fixing= technology.
After all millions are to be made by more or
less unlettered =bookies=!Now In Australia
this controversy.Why should Indian young
people waste their time in this non sportive
endeavor and manner I do not understand.

On top of it harassing the young woman,
who has held Indian flag up flying in international
tennis courts.I am sure if she was not one
of the players there, Indian flag would not
have been displayed.Just because a camera
man shot her showing as if she is kicking
the flag,- it is almost like an optical trick-
an Indian court is concerned to find out
if Sania Mirza indeed deserves three years
in prison. According to me she deserves
an =arjun= award the highest given to a
sportsperson.

Who influenced the judiciary to condone
the middle aged former Chief Minister
of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti for
insulting the national flag at Hubli during
a mob riots in Hubli?Why it was not taken
to the logical conclusion?

If Mahesh Bhupati, the promoter of the young
talent Sania, is to be believed she is upset
feeling miserable.She is seriously considering
giving the short life sportive career. This will
only discourage other younger talents from
taking part in sports.

May be Indian children can participate in temple
festivities,stampade deaths and what not in
the name good gawd.Then the so called =social
workers=, another respectable name to social
=pimps=,would be proud of themselves! They
would make Indian flag fly high. A shame.
I would like to know what happened to
the legal luminary who obtained and the Gujarati
judicial officer, who issued a summons against
President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, when he was
resident in Rashtrapathi Bhavan.All just for a
matter of one thousand dollars!

I would be happy to know if the judicial officer
still gets his salary in Gujarat.And if that Gujarati
legal expert still practicing in the bar.It is time,
Indians in India petitioned the President of
India and the Minister for Sports for correcting
the judicial underworld of India may be through

Vienna,Friday,January11,2008: Sutras or cryptic
sentences of yoga are based on a tradition
comparable to the most advanced one.I said they
are like sub headings.If one should elaborate
they can be compared to the legends of slide
show visual lecture.But sub headings or slide
legends are immediately followed up by elaboration.
In other words sutras are key into the theme as a
whole.A definition of the sutras are given by the
traditional teachers as =alpaksharam, asandigdham,
saravat,vishvatomukham,astobhyam,anavadyam cha
sutram sutravido viduh=,meaning with minimum
of words presenting all round information without
room for doubts in a profound manner is the form of
sutra.In this system of teaching there are three layers.
In the second layer comes =vartika= which intends
to give key additional information to the students.
Finally, in the third place there comes =bhashya=
which is all elaborate.

In classical Hindu system of thought, sage Panini
of around sixth century before Christ, made about
2000 sutras to cover the structure of grammar
for the Sanskrit language,which is considered a
part of Vedic literature. He based them on an
inspiration from sounds he heard of the fourteen
beat rendering of a mini drum,believed to be
devine.These fourteen beats are also considered
as original sutras summing up phonertic alphabets.
I say this all to show the architecture of articulation
in classical edifice of Indian thought.These were
then touched up by sage Katyayana in =vartikas=
to be followed by Patanjali´s Mahabhashya.
We have no evidence to prove or disprove that
yoga sutras were his copy right.If we see in
Mahabhashya a challenging articulation of Samskrit
grammer integrating it to the vast Vedic literature,
here in yoga sutras we get introduced to the technology
of application of our mind within and outside to the
environment.

Our life is in our heart.Our heart gets motivation
from the air we get in from outside.Then we give
out breath.Thus we live in environment.The pumping
air is our link to the environment. It is basic.Then we
learn to maintain compatibility and application of
our pure consciousness for ourselves and environment.
In other words it is a love affair pure and simple
with the nature which enhances happiness and holds
us at permanent peace within ourselves and outside
nature.This yoking is yoga,both words are of the same
etymological trace,so in broader sense yoga is
defined here itself.How the ancients yoked and
worked the system is all about yoga,which is being
explained by the forthcoming 186 sutras divided
in four chapters 51 sutras in the chapter on =samadhi=
roughly translated occupation, 55 sutras in=sadhana=
or logistics preparation for the occupation, 56 in=vibhuti=
winning of the consecutive battles,and finally 34 in
=kaivalya= pure and simple peaceful mastery.Since
Buddhism has overwhelmed us, this stage can be described
in Buddhistc term =nirvana=,corresponding Hindu
word is =moksha or kaivalya=.

There are a total of eight stages in the struggle.In fact
the first five stages are the real struggle,which
constitute logistic.The last three stages,like a military
operation, attack,occupation and peace are
made simultaneously.Together the three are known
as =samyama=.In yoga language these are
called 1)yama,2)niyama 3)asana,4)pranayama,
5)pratyahara 6) dharana,7)dhyana, and 8) samadhi.
Yama are principles.Niyama are rules and regulations.
Asanas are suitable sitting methods.Pranayama is
the steady breathing.Pratyahara is the status of
alert.Dharana is comprehension.Dhyana is the
process of submerging what is under comprehension.
Samadhi is the conclusive comprehension.The
last three which work concurently are called in yoga
language all together as =samyama=.We will look
how it all works gradually in the continuing
contemporary commentary.(end)

Vienna,Thursday,January 10,2008:I am an Indian,
who is committed to the rule of law.I do not approve
of a mob rule by mullah mobs or Hindu pujari mobs.
I have respect for the judiciary even though I have
been a victim of its infinite delays.But I am unable
to comprehend its ways some times.As for example
when a court in Narendra Modi´s Gujarat issued
summons on some flimsy grounds on the then
President of India.Then I learned that for mere Rs.
40,000 or about one thouand dollars, the corrupt
courts in India run all sorts f monkey cases.
Since then,I began to pay some attention and
noted many judicial officers in the country have
enough time to entertain silly cases.

As for example cases on Artist M.F.Hussain on
alleged obscenity charges when Hindu goldly system
itself remains the worst obscene =spiritual=
establishment in the world. I have not known any
judicial process the courts heard in India against
the Archaeological Survey of India for maintaining
historic obscene sites like Khajuraho,Konarak,
granite Kailas Temple in Ellora.Nor have I heard
any court proceedings against naked Jain munis
roaming about publicly. Or even displaying how
they remove their pubic hair by rooting out by
smearing wet ashes to pull out hair religiously!

But they have registered cases against actress Shilpa
Shetty for being kissed by an actor.I am not aware
of the reason why they dropped a case against politician
Uma Bharti,who ran amok with India´s National Flag some
years, ostensibly with a mob for planting it wherever
it pleased her without any occasion for it.But now here
I see a photo of India´s young female professional tennis
payer Sania Mirza sitting among the spectators at
a stadium.The flag has been planted there perhaps
to acknowledge Sania is indeed the pride of the
nation of one billion plus population.In fact she is
the living flag of India in international tennis courts.
I am sure she has not planted an Indian National Flag
in front of her.Besides, the photo shows she sits
away from the flag.But the photographer has
taken the picture to include the flag and India´s
national pride, the young player.Some one,who claims
to be a social worker, another bar member representing
the social worker, reportedly complained to the court
that the national pride, the young woman, Sania Mirza
sat feet up in front of the flag, which constituted
insult to the flag.I wonder, why a mullah like Imam
Bukhari did not come to the same court complaining
that the girl was sitting showing her back to the holy
place Makka!It is not easy to be a world class tennis
player.The discipline involves hard work,tired, getting
injured,etc.She has a right to sit and rest.The social
worker could have arranged for safe keeping the
National Flag.If the Indian judiciary is ashamed of the
country´s young people´s performance in International
sports, then it could arrange by directing the Ministry
of Sports not to display Indian National Flag in the
international play grounds.After all play grounds are
meant for sportive young, who play and those who
like pay and watch.Indian National Flag neither plays,
nor watches the games as an audience paying for the
chance to watch.It is out of place there. I think judiciary
should show some perspective to be serious.It
should not waste public time for cruel jokes on India´s
cherished young sportsmen,including women.(end)

You are right, the Indian judiciary sometimes
makes us all hang our heads in shame. It is
a basic judicial principle that, if a case based
on vexatious claims or frivolity is brought
before a court, the court should not only
dismiss it outright but also hold the initiator
of the case liable.

Let Sania know that, barring a few hoodlums,
all Indians are proud of her achievements and
indebted to her for having carved a niche for
India in the tennis world.

Patanjala yoga sutras.Immediately after the
Upanishadic Period, darshana system
validated Vedic philosophy to confirm
=Aum tat sat= that is the ultimate.At the
time there were some one dozen schools of
thought.These included Buddha,Jain,
Charvaka, Barhaspatya, etc.They all
held view points but ended in =sarva
deva namaskarah keshavam pratigachchati=.
With all that going under Satya Saibaba,
makes no one happy.Why Satyasai Baba?
Before him was there Shirdi Saibaba. He
was decent human being.By hurting
Hindu seriousness,why should we complain

If you have really studied the Vedas and

front of me an opinion piece by Bengali intellectual
Ashok Mitra appearing in today´s The Telegraph,
the successor daily of Anand Bazar Patrika´s The
Hindustan Standard.Anand Bazar is a great regional
daily.Similarly,Ashok Mitra is rated as Bengal´s
key intellectual.This time he wrote about Narendra or
Naradhama if you like to call the Hitlerite that way,
Modi´s Gujarat.His opinion is based on his
wrong facts and facts he did not take into account.

His wrong facts includes that L.K.Advani is a Gujarati
successor to Sardar Patel.I know Lal Kishan Advani
came from Karachi to Bombay to settle down in
Chembur.That was his constituency when he was
elected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.In his
neo-Avatar as a walk man following the foot steps of
Chandra Shekhar,but not so peacefully,he became
a candidate in langoti monkey infested Gujarat.

Besides Mr.Ashok Mitra missed information as input
that the large scale migration of Gujarati upper middle
class,businessmen who supplied leadership to the
state, abroad.When not abroad, to other states within
India, like Maharashtra,Karnataka etc.Old solid Gujarati
business houses like Kasturi Lalbhai,Sarabhais,
Mafatlals and others either declined or strengthened
their bases outside Gujarat making room for small time
Thatcherite =duka=wala Marwaris from Rajasthan and
Madhya Pradesh.These mostly money lending class
of the Afghani/Arab types having lost their business to
rapidly expanding banking sector at the initiative of
Indira Gandhi,became manufacturers of small and
medium order.These make the support base for Modi,
who advertises himself in the garb of garba dancer
Krishna with gopies.

A large number of educated Gujaratis have left
Gujarat following Morarji Desai´s =total revolution=
in search of new mother lands.They maintain emotional
attachment to Gujarat but remain outside India.They
send cash.Some groups do work in Gujarat to support
the state´s development under non-government banners.
This has led to the spread of sham Vaishnavism and
of naked Jainism overseas as well.The visible
Vaishnavism can be seen in the spread of the cult of
Swami Narayan and its Akshara Dhama temples.
The London temple is one example which is supporting
many jobless inferior quality unemplyed doctors who
went to U.K.hoping to make good.They are in thousands.

Mr.Ashok Mitra says Naradhama Modi´s vote share
has increased even though seats he got declined.
It is natural by putting fear into the hearts of dissenting
voters, he made sure they do not turn out to vote.When
the voter potential, particularly I may point out this kind
of strong arm negative voter mobilization was first
indulged in Bombay by Peshwa avatar S.G.Barve,
former Finance Minister of Maharashtra and former
MP Tara Sapre´s brother,who contested in North Bombay
constituency against V.K.Krishna Menon.As I was
monitoring election,I saw his men burning some slum
huts in Dharavi,Sion Koliwada and Chembur he
managed to win. But the poor fellow, could not take his
seat in the Parliament.He died on his flight Delhi to
take his seat in Parliament.In the ensuing by-
election his sister Tara Sapre won both on votes of fear
and votes of sympathy.It was from his experience of
using fear as vote gatherer my friend Bal Thackeray
became the king of Bombay.

Thus,a demographical change and surge of money lender
class into Thatcherite business class in Gujarat presented
Naradhama Modi a chance to rule Gujarat as =Vegetarian
Lion=.There is no room to complain against the Congress
because, Congressmen like Morarji had become total
revolutionaries overnight out of sheer frustration.They were all
part of a Syndicate, what they call in Marathi =shendiwalas=.
If Morarji by his behavior achieved his goal of occupying
the Prime Minister´s chair for a few months,other = shendis=
